I have a question regarding videos of Exanima. Specifically, I wanted to know if the developers are ok with people uploading transformative works (like Let's Plays or Reviews) featuring footage of Exanima to YouTube? Also, how do the devs feel about the YouTube Partner program, which allows video editors to place ads on videos they make? I ask because I would like to start uploading videos of my Exanima gameplay to YouTube, but I don't want to disrespect the wishes of the developers regarding footage of their game.
I have searched this Steam community, Bare Mettle's official forums, and even the Exanima reddit, and have been unable to find an answer to my questions. The closest I've seen was someone saying near the begining of this thread that streaming videos was ok, but that's not quite the same as what I am wondering about. I figured it was better to be safe than sorry and just ask. :)
Thanks again for making this awesome game!
Exanima is still awesome! Keep it up Bare Mettle :)
Like most recent news for Sui Generis is nearly 4 years ago.
Please tell me it's still in production, I hope for a beta soon.
Exanima is the prelude to Sui Generis and when mechanics created for SG are in a playable state they are added to Exanima to be tested. If you follow the progress on Exanima you're following the progress on SG as well. Once Exanima is finished the focus will once again shift back to SG.
i'd rather have them take al the time they need to release a finished and perfect product than to rush it to a half-assed thing.
plus it is not because it is not finished that you cannot have fun with it. there is a longish campaign and an arena.
plus, just for the learning curve itself, you'll have more than enough playtime on your hands.
