We’ve been listening closely to your feedback, and two things kept coming up again and again.

Some of you wanted to run the game on a second monitor, almost like an idler, where the day never ends, and you stay in control of when things move forward.

Others told us the opposite: you want speed. Waiting a couple of minutes just to skip a day felt too slow.

We hear you. Different players, different playstyles. So the team put together a Game Modes Update to let you enjoy Vending Machine Co. on your own terms.

Dear developer, what's the point of adding this achievement for Max fruit? It's just wasting time, nothing more. Instead of playing vending machines, you make you players stuck in this mobile game clone to reach it. Please, check the achievement notifications. Seems sometimes they are missed....

Done with the game. Let me know if I can help anyone in any way! I was thinking of writing a 100% achievements guide, but most of the achievements appear straightforward (if some are a bit grindy), the cat appears to be the only puzzle.

A fresh update is here with UI improvements, better pacing, fixes, and some nice quality-of-life changes across the board.

⚙️ Balance & Progression

Reduced vending machine upgrade costs by $50–$100 to speed up early game progression
Improved overall early-game flow and ramp-up pace

🧠 UI & UX Improvements

Updated day phase timer visuals and layout, now the player can clearly understand when they can end the day
Improved book UI tag spacing
Refined pricing panel increase/decrease steps (0.5 increments)
Removed unused top item shift behavior
Updated end-of-day timer text to “Ready to End”
Removed unnecessary floating text at the end of the day

Hot items doesn't sell that well?

I've been notising this for a while so I tried to test it in a new save... I chose Otaku Alley and got 4 hot items, didn't change any prices, just left them as is... In the first 7 days I did a few upgrades and such and I sold as follows: Gachapon Capsule Toy(17) Watermelon Juice(15) Pink Energy Drink(20) Mint Lime Juice(16) and then one item that wasn't a hot item: Stretchy String Toy(89) Every game I play there are items that sell better than the hot items... and for the hot items I get at least 2 out o...

As of writing, the game does not mention anywhere that it has a timed day and night cycle. I bought it thinking it was a relaxing game that I could play while watching something on a second monitor, but the timed mechanics make it less suitable for that. I would argue that being timed makes it not relaxing.

EDIT: The devs listened and added “Relax Mode.” I will buy the game again, and my review will be positive instead of negative.

It’s a grind, but it’s not a satisfying grind.

Pretty early on you’re just waiting for the pointless timer to let you advance to the next day. As you expand, the timer goes up. Early on it forces you to wait 30 seconds each day which is fine on days you do things (though even that is too long at times), but eventually you have to wait two minutes to advance to the next day. It just wastes time and artificially inflates play time.

I find that a lot of these types of these business sim-type games have the problem of taking something that is a slow, extended process in real life and trying to fit it into this quicker moving thing. So like there are “hot” items and items that sell better in certain locations, but the way this stuff works, it’s simply not worth the time and tedium to go through and manage the machines like that. Moving items to and from the machines in general is just sort of tedious. You can quick move them, but if you upgrade your crates to be larger (which you’ll want to do to get rid of the tedium of managing all of the crates), quick moving will fill multiple slots since the max slot size in a machine is less than the max crate size.

So in theory, you could dig in and micromanage it, but I can’t imagine that being interesting. The game just really isn’t deep enough to reward that.

There are a few minigames, but they’re very simple and feel slapped together. They’re like the ones you might find in a visual novel or something where it’s just tossed in there to say it’s there.

One sort of forced minigame is the machine maintenance. Those are also very basic and feel slapped together. They're mostly just click and hold "games".

There’s an interesting idea to it, but this feels like the Flash game version of the interesting idea and not the one you pay money for.

Update Broke the Game

Your newest update has broken the game. Most of the screen is black. I can't see anything. I can click into an area of the map, but there is almost entirely black.
