While one focusses only on realism, you may be missing out on the fun of puzzle solving and winning races against time. Once you take realism out of the equation, many of the older games suddenly have much appeal. Unfortunately many modern games although having realism in droves, have only that and offer little in fun solving puzzles and racing against time. There seems to be a limit though, like although I had much fun on the Wii console, its resolution is just too low now for me to be immersed. I play ZR on a new 4K system. ZR offers excellent puzzles and speed challenges and although the puzzles may appear simple at first (match 3), actually run quite deep if you are to succeed in speed runs and/or full game completion. My last Adventure mode run I completed in 27:41, my current run is at 7:17 after completing level 29 and so is on target for sub 25 minutes and maybe sub 20. My level 1 best is 5 seconds, with all levels up to 6 completed in total time under one minute. Speed isn't just about thinking fast. It's initially about makng the best decisions, one after another, without undue delay.

True, my main man. My dad enjoyed playing this game on our MAC. Sadly, the game doesn't work on there anymore. It's just not the same, really.

I keep macOS 10.14 (Mojave) installed on an older 27" iMac (with i7) just for Zuma. With dual boot I can get my "Zuma fix" easily then boot back to Ventura. Admittedly running the Windows version makes life simpler.

I see. Did you ever get the same glitch where the game can open but it crashes every time, and you have to keep reopening it until it doesn't crash in this mac version, by chance?

Probably as old as your dad if not older and Zuma is still one of my favorite things to play. Just not on Steam. I still have my old computer plugged in so I can play it there. For whatever reason this version won't let me play in "HD" I hate that I had to buy it again to get it on my new computer and it doesn't even work as well.

My dad is 57, you're most likely not older than him
