The Cake Maia series is no more available ??? Why

For some reason, these games have only have prices in four of Steam's currencies. Any country with a different one can't buy them here. Chances of that ever changing are next to zero, seeing how whoever currently owns the rights to Sandlot Games' titles hasn't done anything with them.

You can however still find most of their lineup on sites like http://bigfishgames.com/ and http://wildtangent.com/. I don't think they use any kind of region-locking.

The two of them combined sell almost every single one of their titles that haven't been removed from sale yet. The only exception I can think of is Cake Mania: Back to the Bakery. Digital copies of that one are only available on Amazon, and only to Americans. It's included in physical copies of the first game though.

Is there a way to change what type of currency that our account uses?

I don't think so. If there were a way, people could exploit the system and set their currency to something really weak like the Russian Ruble in order to get most games at much lower prices.

If your country uses a currency this game has no price for on Steam, your only option is to buy it somewhere else.

http://www.shockwave.com and https://www.wildtangent.com have some of the Cake Mania games, though not all of them. There might be other sites as well.

Some of the games also have physical copies you could order instead.

Sandlot Games' Steam lineup has been delisted globally a few years ago. Probably due to an expired contract. It will never come back either. It's not entirely clear who owns their games nowadays (though trademark ownership information is pointing towards Ubisoft), but whoever it is has no interest whatsoever in these games and is just letting them gradually disappear.

If you want this game, buy it from one of the few remaining places that sell it or pirate it.
