Breakdown Event Circuit Boards

Not sure the proper name for these, but referring to the circuit boards that occasionally come in the care packages after event completion. After getting like 10 of each of the first four, I finally got one of the fifth one, but what do I do with them? Do they combine somehow to make something, or are they just a junk collectible?

I read somewhere (either here or on Reddit) that an Astroneer dev recommended you keep a copy of all five of them for later. The implication is that they have no purpose yet.
