Issues with Tethers (Resolved)

Hi All

Just started playing this and have put only around 15 hours in, but im having some very weird issues with Tethers, in that they dont work, then they do, but then only certain ones in the chain from my Base / Oxygenator is.

Issues stared on Calidor, but i was soon to head off to Glacio so i didnt think anything of it, it started on Calidor right after i died, spawned back at my shuttle and the issues seems to be then.

So i got to Glacio and started a brand new "Base" and the tethers are doing the same thing there, they worked for half an hour and now they just don't, I have tried collecting every single tether and laying them again, no fix there. Sometimes the tether will only connect to platforms in my base when my backpack is open other times it will connect to the tethers only but not give me power. I guess im getting oxygen somehow as i can stay there for 5 mins, seemingly not connected but not dying.

I'm really not sure what it is, i have googled and most just seem to say need an oxygenator and power, i have both and they seem to work fine. I have tried with the oxygenator in the shuttle and on a platform.

If anyone has anything else i can try please do help.

Sorted it!

It was one of the Gastropods (that gives Oxygen when fed), i guess as i was full on oxygen game didnt think i needed to connect to a tether for that so it didnt.

Took that off and all is good :)
