Packager does not work on frozen argon

I found frozen argon but I couldn't use the packager for this. Is it bug? or normal situation for this?

Well technically it's a research item and as packagers don't work on any of those, i don't see why it should work on frozen Argon.

Actually, packagers work on most medium research items. There are some special things where they don't. I would guess the reason they don't work on frozen argon is that you are meant to use the train to collect them, not run out with a backpack full of packagers and pick them up.
