Sending power down the tether lines...?
On the first planet, my base sends a TON of power to my backpack via the tethered air hose.

On the second planet, I get the tether from the shuttle. However, the shuttle send almost NO power down the tether line.

What am I missing here?

Thank you in advance

From what I've understood, the Shuttle should provide 1/2 the power the Base does, however it seems more like 1/5th or so.

The shuttle is very limited on power it self. The only way to get more power out of the shuttle is add power to it such as batteries, solar panels, wind turbines or RTG ... attached in the shuttle storage. Though if your are walking around you just attach a small generator to your pack to charge it when away from the shuttle, can turn off and on the generator whenever you need.

The starter shelter building generates a some power, the shuttle generates a very tiny amount of power.

add power to your shuttle that it can send also an oxygenator might be needed

To clear some questions you may have. Your shelter always comes equipped with a mini RTG. I say mini because it doesn’t push as much power as the RTG but it works the same as one. On top of that you also have all your power producers at your base (solar panels, turbines, RTGs, battery’s, etc.) and when you visit a planet you no longer have those resources. You space shuttle produces almost nothing in power (no really). So what I would recommend is to 1st use less power consumption items in your bag. These include ( the work light, any boost mods, and drill mods, portable oxygenator, etc.) if you still struggle get 1 compound and 1 organic and make a small generator and place it in your backpack. They are cheap to fuel, as it just takes 1 organic, and they also cost next to nothing to make. They will help produce the power. Now in the future I would bring a RTG in you shuttle. If you have a medium or a large of course. To increase the amount of slots the shuttle has, add storages and slap on just a single RTG. It will make the worlds difference. One last note aswell. If you put a win turbine or solar panel in you shuttle it will also help, but not what planet you are going to. Because a planet like desolo is hot, sunny and dry, you would rather have a solar panel then turbine. A planet like glacio however, is windy and gets almost no sunlight, turbines are better in that scenario. Hope it helps. I’m here to answe any other questions! Gl!

Another thing I do is this:
I build an oxengenator and place it on my platforms with my other power generators. Also, I keep my base a distance from the landing spot/original base. So my platforms and work area provide O2 and the full force of all their power down the line to me at the mining area,

Also, the shuttle only generates solar power.
