Is there a button to quick grab/deposit?

The thing I find most annoying is the fact that you keep grabbing platforms or storages instead of the material on them. I'm spending most my time trying to grab plastic from the chem lab, because I keep grabbing the lab itself. Is there a way to quickly grab the material while aiming your mouse anywhere on the machine instead of directly on it?

working around to this would be get an auto arm setup to pick the resource made out of the chemistry lab onto a platform or place directly into your back pack when walking with in its reach.
Other than that only way is to make sure when you go to grab the resource that it is highlighted when hovering over it instead of the platform or chem lab before your click.
