STUCK ON PLANET PLEASE HELP

i am stuck on a planet i need compund but there isn't any. is there a way i wont have to restart game.

Every planet has compound and resin, you just have to look for it. It may be easier to find it in caves.

also, every planet has solid fuel thrusters in the caves. They are mostly buried and hard to spot and usually a couple layers down. Otherwise, keep scouting and digging long tunnels into the ground, youll find resin and compound

It depends on how much equipment you have. I, foolishly, went exploring with my return thruster in my backpack, fell off a cliff, had no idea where the last tether was and died. There was no way to get more resource with an empty backpack, I tried with no luck-end of game. Lesson learned, always replace the thruster as soon as you land.

I just leave it in a hole next to ship in case I find another while Im exploring, but yeah anything is better than forgetting to put it down at all

My vehicle printer only offers the rover seat, I have payed for the small shuttle in the catalogue but it has not appeared in the printer =( Stuck on the starting planet that has zero iron or tungsten so I also can't progress to chemicals and gases. I can't even make a buggy either, or use scrap metals because I cant make a shredder so I cant recycle. GUTTED! PLEASE HELP? Do we really have to learn the whole catalogue just to make a small shuttle???

No you don't need to unlock all to make what you have already unlocked. That being said. Have you tried cycling through the interface? Hold "Q" when cusor is on base of bay etc.

It's all ok now. You must have ample room ni front of the printer for it to print. I moved the Vehicle Printer away, used extenders to power it and it will now print anything =) Thanks.

I forgot my thurster at home, managed to find one organic on the moon and then using that to make a smelter and then make a wind turbine (you can also charge from the ship by charing a small battery although it will take a long time). Still havent gotten back but i think spawning on the home planet instead should be possible.

you necroed a thread, said a bunch of swear words, didnt make much sense, and I have almost no idea what you want from that. My best guess is that you are upset about ammonium being rare. If thats the case, then remember its a procedurally(spelling?) generated world, some things may be less common near base while others may be mor common than typical for a partiucular save. In other words, dont be mad about rare ammonium because something else is probably more abundant than usual and you are likely taking that for granted. Advice: chill out, empty your bag except for a couple of adventure tools, find a ton of ammonium and bring it home. Then, when you go offworld, make sure to get enough of the non terran resource for a chem lab, trade tower, and shredder and youll never have to hunt ammonium again. If your problem was something else, that sucks because I cant figure out what and I lost interest juuuuuust.....now

I think he/she has missed a step. In that you have to start with the small shuttle. The one that uses solid fuel thrusters. (and you need to make aleast 2 thrusters .. one to go to another planet and one to return)
He/she can't understand that materials needed to progresss are not on Terran.

when you use a solid thruster on a small shuttle, you hit the launch button to go to planet orbit screen, then wait until the option to hit the launch button again shows up and that is how you go to other planets. if you weren't so abusive, you would probably get helped a lot faster. dont call people idiots when you are the one not understanding what most people have no issue figuring out
