Food, Water, Farming, Gas Mask, Better/More Protective Spacesuit, Bases, and Diving Gear (if lakes or oceans were added)

An interesting thing to add would be hunger and thirst along with food, ways of farming, and lakes, rivers and oceans to get water to filter to then make drinkable water. A gas mask should be added to protect against the green gas that is so annoying in caves (it could be expensive to make and need power to operate). A better spacesuit so you dont die as easily (would be helpful on the arid planet with the spike balls). Bases would be helpful to have so that you dont have to make a cave to hide from sandstorms. And finally some diving gear to swim faster and dive deeper if lakes and oceans were added.

You are wearing a space suit with it's own supply of oxygen and you believe a gas mask will help? Just stay away from the hazards. You can go around or you can sink them into the ground. Nothing is forcing you to stand next to the thing killing you.....except you. Everyone trying to get immunity from every single danger is something a mod can give you. Asking the devs to waste their time on special snowflakes that want a god mode is redundant and it only makes the core mechanics patches take longer.

They're already planning on adding survival elements into the game.
