Probe Scanner not working on Vesania

Hi All,
Been trying to complete all the missions and the last one I have active right now is 'Things to remember', specifically to scan the Vesania probe. I have the probe scanner in my auxiliary spot, but it doesn't work and can't identify where the probe is. It worked fine for every other planet (and even when I go to other planets, it works), it's just on Vesania that it doesn't.
Any suggestions on what to do?
