same for me, just updated and now I cant play, crashes in the first loading screen

Hello, I'm also experiencing the same problem. I can't play the game. Every time I launch up Astroneer there it goes through its intro and goes to loading screen. Soon as it hits the loading screen, the game immediately crashes and closes, but it doesn't pull up any errors. When I go through the check the error files, there's nothing in there either. So, I did the Steam step of verifying the integrity of my game. Then I would boot up the game once again and immediately crash once it gets through its intro to the loading screen. So, I uninstalled the game to see if there was maybe a mod that I had on there that was conflicting and reinstalled it on a different SSD and it did the same thing. After the update, the game now just goes through its intro and meetly crashes on loading screen. Please help us. I want to check out your new update.

same dude! it opens up on the system era then apears the load screen and then crashes! already tried to view the intregrety of the game and does not open!:steamsad:(update i fixed it ill give out info hot to fix it on this post) how to fix it:If you're crashing please do a complete reinstall. If you're on Steam you'll want to back up your saves files or confirm that they're saved in the cloud. Saves can be found here:
%LocalAppData%\Astro\Saved\SaveGames

Then head here:
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local

• Delete the "Astro" folder entirely.
• Return to your Steam Library, right click Astroneer, and Uninstall the game
• Reinstall the game through Steam normally
• Restore the save files to backed up previously

If you are not on Steam reinstall as usual on your device.

If your game continues to crash after a full reinstall, please email our Support desk at Support@SystemEra.net.

In your email include the following:
• Which platform you're playing on :steam::xbox~1::win10::PS4~1::Switch~1:
• Indicate whether you're using a controller or keyboard & mouse
• Your DxDiag file {LINK REMOVED}
• The save file (if it's only happening on a specific save)
• All relevant crash logs, found here:
C:\Users\%Username%\AppData\Local\Astro\Saved\Logs

Same bug here, crashes in the first logo animation directly after launch.

Add me to the list. Verified files, no good. Deleted and reloaded the game. no good. Crashes at loading solar system.

Game crashes for me on the loading bar screen with the new custom game update.

I have an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 / NVIDIA GeForce 1080 8gb, 16gb ram, Win10
My son has an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 / NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070, 16gb ram, Win10 his runs fine with no problems, hasn't had a crash yet.

Same, crashing on loading.

I had a similar problem, I think it's because I've used mods in the past. what i did to fix it was run the modloader and uncheck everything there. after running the game with that it worked fine, and no need to run modloader again after fix. it sounds weird but i guess mods keep running even if you don't have modloader open.

Update: There is a way to fix it no credit goes to me someone told me how to. All Credit goes to Dcool.

I had to same issue. I found a solution that worked for me on the Astro Discord. It had me delete the actual folder in steam and then open steam and do the unistall of the game as well. Go to users, name, appdata, local, and delete the Astro folder. Reinstall the game and it should load. I originally started by deleting mods for the game pak files but that did not help. I noticed the appdata file the mods still existed. Even if you don't have mods, the discord post said to do this anyway. It worked for me.

Go to This PC go underneath View at the very top and make sure that the following boxes are checked hidden items and file name extension before locating the file.

C:\AppData\Local Delete any Mods or delete the whole file of Astro.

I bought it today (14 of July in BR) at 13/14 pm +/- and it is working very well. My brother has an account too and also bought (@Niasafe), his was at 19 pm and when it opens the first loading screen [the all blue with 3/4 little dots as planets] it goes around 30% and stay there forever, tried deleting 3 times and installing again, didn't work. Both of us paid by pix 35,59 and his notebook is better than mine, don't know what's happening.
