My Rovers Keep disappearing
I will leave them parked on the surface of a planet, then when I come back they are gone. If I spend a long time searching the caverns below my base sometimes I can find them below ground. I have lost a lot of resources this way.

Unfortunately this is a common bug. Other than keeping your game updated there isn't much more you can do to stop it from happening. It may help to provide information and report the bug to their support: https://astroneer.space/support/

As a possible work-around, you can try parking vehicles on platforms or on elevated ground such that they land on the ground below when sinking through.

Been happening for years and no fix in sight. Store works perfectly, though.

my rover dissapeared too and someday i found it exploring the caves. It was in the same place but 3 or 4 layers below. I think is a bug

happened to me too, i just park them on terrain without a cave below or fill it up with dirt.

It seems that parking on modified terrain increases the risk. I put my bases on unmodified terrain and I've never lost a rover this way.

People have been complaining about this for years now. I don't see how keeping the game updated or reporting the bug could have any effect at this point. There is no way the devs aren't aware of this issue.

Wouldn't this just cause the rover to fall even further down if this happens?

Turn on V-Sync. High framerate bugs out the physics, causing items to glitch through the floor upon loading them into your bubble of reality. If that doesn't work, try limiting your FPS through other means, such as Nvidia Control Panel.
