Tether won't connect to base
So the tether won't connect to the base like it should do or used to. When placing a tether close to it, it indicates that it wants to connect but don't.
I have the Bio astronaut when play if that helps.

Games really more difficult without tethers.

Tether mechanics have changed. Do you have an Oxygenator module installed in your base?

Make sure the oxygenator (you can call down one for free right at the landing pad) is connected to the shelter (the starter one has an open slot for it) or a platform connected to the shelter.

Remember the same applies to any spacecraft you build. If they don't have an oxygenator on them, they won't act as a free and infinite source of oxygen for your tether network. The same is true for rovers if I'm not mistaken. However, both still provide you oxygen when you're near them just fine.

Also keep in mind if you have a new base and you are trying to draw power off it through tethers but your oxygenator is still on your rocket, the tether will prioritize the rocket and feed you only oxygen, so ... move the oxygenator, took me a bit to figure out that was the problem, thought I needed to have a habitat.
