Vehicles wont move

been trying to drive my truck for a while now and it wont move... afterwards i built a new rover and it wont move aswell they are not stuck nor without battery... they just wont move

I, many people have had this issue. After trying many things, I got it to work by accident. I don't know if this will solve your issue as well, but, while in the vehicle, try lowering your camera to, or past ground level while moving. It seems to give it a jump start.

I'm having the same issue. So far, I have built two different trucks and they will not start. The power drains, as if they are moving, but the wheels won't spin.

In the past I was able to do a CPU reset, CTRL+ALT+DEL and stop Astro. I restarted things and it work normally. Now just right now I have a two truck train far from home that refuses to move, when I get out IF I accidentally hit the q key the truck train vanishes on me. I have restarted the program twice and even restarted the laptop with no luck. I am going to loose many resources with this unless the program fixes itself.

I had a similiar issue, did you know you can move other objects when manipulating tethers, they collide with other objects such as veichles, and for some reason thats got my truck to move after bumping it out of the veichle build area.

I'm having this problem now, i have no idea how to fix it, its randomly starts working again but whenever i stick something on the 2 slot space on the vehicle it stops again

my 'fix' for moving vehicles that just dont want to move.. if its the tractor, i disconnect and then reconnect the power line to the first trrailer its connected to and it tends to fix it. had to do it twice once. as for the scout buggy, taking off my wind turbines on it and putting them back seem to work most of the time.
works enough for me to continue playing, but they def need to fix the issue.

I know how to fix this problem. First you must remove every item from your vehicle, which includes storage. For the next step you must leave all the vehicle sections attached. Take out the terrain tool and begin removing the ground beneath the entire vehicle. Keep digging until the entire vehicle is in a hole. Now cover the hole with the flattening tool and pretend nothing ever happened.

If you still have problems try directing your frustration away from the computer and onto a pillow, or maybe go for a walk until you feel better.

Trust me, this works every time.

Seriously? People are trying to actually solve issues here. if you have nothing to ADD to the conversation just do everyone a favor and don't reply.

For me, I was getting it with the buggy. Taking everything off if it, seat and cargo then putting them back on fixed it.

Got the issue with the buggy, seems like wheel mesh and floor keep getting merged. removing some dirt under wheels usually works.. but hope the tractor does better... never had this issue before till 1.0 release. Other way is save and load..

It happened to me when I parked on one of the purple things and left for a while. Came back and it was frozen solid. The way I fixed it was just make some graphite in the centrifuge (or find it) and make a packager. Package up the vehicle and move it and unpack it and it worked fine for me after that. That's the easiest and quickest solution for me.

Most of the time for me digging doesnt seem to help. Removing everything off the buggy and then placing it back on has worked multiple times tho.
