Well, the puzzles are enjoyable...i guess this is the only fun part...
I had a similar situation this morning. I drove to the Delta storm and was looking for the best way to pave a bridge up to the area where we collect the resource stuff and didn't notice a cataplant hidden in some other stuff. So it shot the first M80 at me and I insta panicked and hit a number key instead. So now here I am doing a happy dance and unable to move. By the time the dance was half over, the cataplant spit another 2 M80s at me. BOOM. Dead. Not thrilled in the slightest and thinking great, now I need to build another vehicle to get all the way backover there. Instead, I just made a bunch of filters and hoofed it on feet. It was faster than all the building and setting up of a vehicle plus I didn't have to worry about sticking to the path I made. I could travese the tough terrain easier on foot.
I should have all the missions completed tonight. WooHoo.
i heard about the storms and i was expecting the storms to be like from the alpha days....not these limited bubbles, that you cant see in.
The storms not being from the Alpha is something I actually liked. It's their own personal twist on them. The way they went about executing them, leaves much to be desired. I would have liked some cubes/debris being flung at me occasionally. Not a status effect with a time gate that kills me if it gets full. They really need to tone down how difficult it is to see in the storms, a worklight helps a ton just as a quick FYI, but half the time I can barely figure out where I am in the storm. With the status effect included, it sometimes becomes sheer panic. And that's really not fun
and because the game doesnt use backup saves you cant reload an old save. i wasnt aware about the portal issue though.
