Softlocked Out of Glitchwalkers?

Me and my friends have been playing a save for a year and wanted to play glitchwalkers on it, so we played and got some of the way through (full up on first rootkit stuff). When we saved and left we thought everything would be fine, but after logging in today we found we were back on sylva and the portal was nowhere to be found. Our quest log no longer listed past Fools Rush In, which was completed. There is no reclaimable quest for the portal item either, which would have been immensely helpful. Any advice? or are we just locked out for that save.

When you go through the portal the game starts a new save. It is probably named something like SAVE_n where n is a number. Your original save where you are on Sylva is also saved when you enter the portal, but without the portal. That's the save you loaded up, not the Glitchwalker save. If for some reason you don't have a SAVE_n game, you should at least have a new option in the main menu about traveling to Aeoluz and if you select that and then start a new game you start a Glitchwalker game. That would save you having to do all the portal stuff again at least.
