Those are different ones.
They are always in same fixed positon from each of the larger planets.
The actual Unknown Sattelite looks slightly different in the Orbit view and is still where it should be.
Are they at a fixed position or orbiting? Which planets actually have them?
Again, I have no idea what they are and how you possibly could have got them. It would be really nice to know if anybody else had ever seen something like this in Astroneer, I still believe that this is a graphical glitch.
All planets have them (except Calidor this time while i was recording or perhaps i just couldn't find it)
Anyways here is the vid it will explain much clearer what i meant:

I even included shots where these weird sattelites are in same frame as the actual Unknown Satellite.
Like how games will use low poly or skyboxes to render a mountain while its far away until your get closer replacing it with higher polygone versions as you get closer.
Oh maybe.
Funny enough i never was able to see the unknown sattelite from the surface of a planet / moon.
And some of these seem to be in really wrong angles.
They are indeed smaller replicas of the actual Unidentified Satellite, with some panels missing or being invisible. I could tell because I was able to see stuff on them that I have placed on the Unidentified Satellite, like a shuttle and rail posts.
There used to be an effect where beacons placed on a planet were being replicated in space. I guess this might be a similar glitch, perhaps related to something like what Dirtyshadow describes.
I think we can be pretty sure that these objects are not actually part of the game, and that you are not supposed to "visit" them.
Mystery solved then
Thanks.
