If you are still hard set on a new playthrough and asap, really your only option is farming the toys found on Sylva which are worth a measly amount of points
The cosmic baubles and astral figurines provide the most points. Cosmic baubles need scrap and astronium and astral figurines need packagers. You could go the bauble route if you have a steady source (automated) of astronium to trade for jumpjets to scrap. Jumpjets take 4 astronium to make 8 jumpjets and they produce some of the best scrap output there is.
If you go the packaging of astrals and other items, then that would entail having a good source of graphite which is cheaper and easier than astronium in case you don't have a good source of astronium. It would more entail riding around Glacio looking for goodies to package. May as well put an EXO on your vehicle or train so you don't waste so much time going back to base to send them off.
So it sounds like you haven't progressed very far which means that getting graphite and ammonium should be your priority.
Sure you could stay on Sylva and try it that way, but boy is it gonna take a looooong time. My advice is to get at least the small shuttle and solid fuel (all resources found on Sylva) up and going. Then go to Calidor or Desolo to get tungsten so you can make the medium shuttle. At least this way you can carry a lot more which would cut down on all those round trips to Glacio (where the best event loot is (barring printing event items).
TIP: Packagers and dynamite can stick to the side of anything, so it won't take any valuable storage space. Stick them to the side of your shuttle and use when needed.
Btw, there is some Astronium to be found in crates on the surface.
