Wow. I wouldn't even know where to begin to pick apart how entitled and ridiculous this is.
You couldn't write a book about how wrong it is. What you could do is write a book about how you made a bunch of poor decisions and can't cope with DLC for a video game existing.
Where did you see the insults? Why are you so upset?
And still, you decided to pointlessly post, even not knowing where to begin with it...
For a post complaining the game loop is the same in the DLC minus all the gathered advantages, bar knowledge of course, and it not containig profanity or rage, you seem very upset, why is that?
cause fanbois take it personally when you insult something they use as a measure of their success in life. so yeah they get angry of every little thing lol. like when people buy luxury cars they never actually drive, making up for a lack in some departments *hint* *hint*
But please, go ahead and pick it apart. I'd love to see the mental gymnastics you'll contort yourself into to somehow prove that you are in any way in the right.
I will say this; yes it IS "entitlement", to voice dissatisfaction in a product you have purchased.
You paid and played and by that you earn entitlement to your opinion - whether somebody on the net likes it or not.
If it's valid criticism; then by addressing it, the product can be improved.
By always dismissing any criticism outright, the product does not improve as it could and the next 10 people that do not voice that criticism, still make financial decisions (Such as not purchasing the next DLC) and eventually the product suffers.
Maybe the crappy DLC is a result of the toxic positivity of the community screamers; maybe not.
I just know, myself, whether I will purchase the DLC and whether I care to further (financially) support the developers.
And no, I will not give you spoilers on my decision.
They didn't look far and didn't tire themselves out too much.
When I think that it was part of the original game, and now they're selling it separately, they have no shame.
The new storms are in the base game too, but don't let facts stop you.
They aren't the storms from EA though, not in the DLC or base.
That is true. They were not what I expected when I first read about them ingame (they really are kinda lame) and mostly they are an interactive advertisement for the DLC for people that did not buy the dlc yet.
I am disappointed the base game storms don't have a purpose other than DLC entry. You can farm them for bytes I guess. Maybe they will be something more in a future update.
But only in the aspect, I see that they are in their entirety simply models reworked of the EA version.

I have not play through EA so storms are very much new to me. At first it was too much because it broke the calm nature of the game. But it's good, nothing to complain about.
Yes, you've got a point, and I'm very critical, but actually pleased to see the storms again.
