Did you do the previous 2 EXO events and collect all the chips from them? If so, you can pick them up and it counts towards these missions.
And Yes, the chip A 3/5 has a light blue and a light green beacon if you use usagi
I already had the chips from the previous events dropped on the floor at my base but didn't realise they were the same after wasting a weekend on Calidor until I read this post.
Again, I too had major problems finding that one. It probably took about 3 in game hours total before I found it. Almost all the rest of the chips/sites were relatively easy to find.
There is no cheat for this. Have you done the 2 prior chip events? If so, and you still have them, you can simply pick them up one by one and it counts towards this event if I remember correctly.
The chips spawn on large-ish structures with a green map marker. These structures appear on the surface of planets, close to on an invisible latitude line I call "Halfway between the equator and north (or south) poles of the planet." I always planned to rename it "The Tropic of"... of... something witty.
How I reached them:- Turn compass on.
- Start from any equatorial gateway and travel north or south until the polar gateway audibly becomes 'closest' on the compass.
- Notice or mark that location.
- Turn east or west, and go that way, looking for larger structures.
- If you reach your marked starting location, try the other side of the planet instead.
Note that the equatorial gateways are not the equator of the planet itself. When not directly north/south of your location, these points on the equator will be significantly more distant than the pole gateway. Use the 'N' on the compass to maintain a true east/west heading.
