I think that's part of the quest. There's been a breakdown and everything is messed up.
Ah, thanks for the reminder about the staged event. Have been racking our brains trying to figure out how to make Resinpound. Maybe it will show up in the Chemistry lab during another stage or something (I'm guessing it will be made from resin and compound).
We found that the Burrito can be made in the Large Printer and other items can be crafted in the Small and Medium Printers using the common items we're finding in the triangle-shaped containers underground (forgot their name).
We've been commonly finding the Cosmic Baubles, unknown Biofuel, Noxathane, and Automatons (looks like little toy robots).

Is it safe to assume that the higher the amount you put on the platform, the higher the chance of getting leek/resipound?
So to get the loot for this event, I have to go find/dig for the mats, then combine it based on a recipe and then send that through the EXO request platform? I'm guessing this is a heavily grinding event?
Also is there any specific things to look out while digging for these mats? Any good combination of items to maximize the points to achieve the loot faster?
Any help would be appreciated! :)
The "loot" for this event, at least this first stage, is in containers you will find underground in caves. You need to figure out how to open them. The only digging necessary would be to get down into the caves. The materials are used to craft items that you then send on the EXO rocket.
In this first phase it is extremely grindy. Personally, I've only sent enough to get the first reward level. The material you collect now will also be used in later phases, where the point value of crafted items will be much greater. So, what I'm doing is stockpiling these basic materials for use later
I'm stockpiling too, but I really want to experiment with sending off a full canister of cosmic squash (or whatever it is) that gives you 14k in points to see if it gives you leek or resipound. RazorX has mentioned getting these items as rewards from the Exo rocket and I think it's possible when you send off a good amount of points.
Maybe I'm missing something but what I see is that we need Leek or Resipound for any of the higher value times, like Cosmic Squash. The only things we can craft with the starting materials are worth 88 points each. So, with a full canister, and the 8 slots, that's a maximum of 3520 points per load on the rocket. Let's say I'm curious how you can get more.
Edit: Ok, forgot the gas thing held 160 squashothane, so that would be 14784 for a full load. But that is many hours of grinding to make one load.
So, I tested this and either things are buggy, or I'm sceptical.
I sent off a single item to check the servers and got my 88 points. Then I sent a full load of squashothane, payload of 14784. And got nothing. No rewards, and no reduction to next goal. It said I delivered 14784 points, but my amount to next goal did not change (or maybe a small amount, see below).
I typically duplicate my save before every session, so I loaded up a save prior to sending the rocket (after duplicating again) and sent another full rocket. This time It said I delivered just 704 points, and those were reflected in the next goal figure. It's possible the previous shipment reduced this by 704 points too. I was looking for a 14k change so just really looked at the thousands.
I went back to the save before sending any rockets and will continue with that one. I think I'll wait for phase 2 though before trying anymore.
I'm pretty disappointed in this event, especially the staging. It's needlessly confusing and boring.
I feel dumb now. I usually have zero reason to read those hints of even goto the mantle any more on any planet. I just drove down and was like DUH!!!!!!! Thanks!
