I was thrilled to see they have such great plans for the coming year. Inspired me to start playing a new adventure game. Then I loaded up and found my tricked out large rover has just disappeared. I can't believe they STILL haven't fixed this problem. My enthusiasm has been sucked right out of me.

In the game's options menu, try to set VSYNC to "ON" and see if this improves the situation with this bug for you: A fix for resources falling through the ground

Very high chance it hasn't disappeared as you put it, merely that it has parked itself underground somewhere. Since my first experience of this occurrence, I always put beacons on rovers. Won't stop it happening, will make it orders of magnitude easier to find.

yes, normally when a vehicle isn't where you left it, it fell through the terrain, so if you dig straight down from that spot, you should be able to find it, though it may fall pretty deep. This has been a bug since I started playing in 2018 or so, a lot of us just got used to it, but it is theoretically possible for a vehicle to fall through the entire planet, not sure if it would just stop on the surface or fly off into space, but there have been times where I have put up extensive searches for a large rover train fully decked out mobile base and come up empty handed after hours of searching. The fact that those large rovers and some of the machines now cost exo chips is just a cruel kick in the....knee, since this bug persists 5 or 6 years later, even after a complete overhaul of the terrain system. I remember taking more than a year off the game, starting a new save, and immediately after tunneling into the first cave layer, I see massive amounts of assets raining through the ceiling. My computer is no potato, and I even tried a second time on lowest graphics settings, vsync etc and it still happened so I took another year off. Now I play very intermittently because I just cannot trust the game enough to invest in it anymore, even though I used to love this game more than any other, putting in nearly 2,000 hours at this point, it's just frustrating. I don't know if the devs ever addressed this, like if they even know why it's happening. I heard too much nonsense in their videos and discord about things not related to gaming, and a lot of excuses about development, then the exo shop fiasco. I want this game to be great, but hope that it ever will be in a shippable state has evaporated entirely.
