Shredder not shredding

I've set up a scrap farm using the classic centrifuge>printer>canister>shredder approach.
The auto arm takes the canisters to the shredder but nothing happens; the canisters just disappear. No scrap, no shredder animation. It makes a sort of click noise like it's being attached to something and just disappears.
I've searched everywhere for someone else experiencing this but found nothing.

Any ideas!? I have more than enough power running through it.

I wondered if maybe they patched it? Failing that something's wrong with my game.

Does your system have enough space for the output scrap? I only ask as that "click" you mention reminds me of the sound you get when the shredder can't output anywhere. No idea why your canisters vanish though, although I'd suggest moving the shredder to look underneath it, just to be sure.

hi. i have now also incounterd this problem. when i put things on my shredders. medium and large. everything i put in just dissapears. i have moved them around to another platform. i have pakaged them and unpakaged again. Saved the game and and then gone in again but nothing seems to work. its a bit frustraitning. pleace help.

Did it work before?

I know I run into issues somewhat similar to this from time to time and instead of testing testing testing, I build a new one and it usually fixes it. Sometimes it just bugs out for whatever reason.

yes. like for one day or so and then no more. i build a new medium one and then a larger one but that one has not worked. i just tried again now and it still dosen't work. :(
