Vesania is not worth the hassle
From the wiki page, it would seem like Vesania would be almost a one stop shop for nearly ever mineral.

From what I can tell so far, pretty much the only reason to visit Vesania is Zinc, which the planet has just below the ground, in vast quantities.

Lateralus and Quartz are common underground, but you can get those on Sylva.

I have found a smigeon of titanite DEEP underground, but not in any useful quantity.

Sylva has loads of Zinc, too.

Sorry, typo on my part. I meant to say Lithium. :)

Lithium. That's likely about it. But it's an important 'it' given it's the most valuable base resource in the game.

lateralus - Tool
lithium - evanescence

None of the planets are a one stop shop. Each seem to have a TON of at least one resource though.

So much Lithium on Vesania. I already had 4 storage full of the stuff when I drilled through a vain on my way to the center and just left this laying next to the path. It's still there.

Between Sylva and Glacio, you can get every material except lithium.

Btween Sylva and Atrox, you can get pretty much every gas except sulfur.

Its annoying that there isn't more reward for going to planets that are more difficult to deal with.

But given there really isn't any risk involved with any planet, I guess its kind of hard to make a risk vs reward type of comparison.

I would hesitantly say that Atrox is genuinely hazardous, but only if you keep forgetting to be careful and watch if you're about to walk too close to another vicious plant...like me...
Also -and not to hijack the discussion-, does anyone actually spend significant effort to mine lithium, or even the less-rare-but-still-rare stuff like hematite, when you can just hunt for scrap metal and use the good ol' trade rocket? Personally, I only went down into Vesania to mine lithium just because I felt like making a mobile mining base.

I get 100% of my lithium from trading scrap, such is my dislike for the terrain on the exotic planets.

Atrox is one of the only two planets that has Sulfur? (Calidor being the other)
