Is there a quick way to transfer backpack to medium storage?

Other than the auto-arm I mean. I use soil canisters a lot and having to transfer those I filled to a storage on my tractor is pretty tedious. Any way to speed that up?

Not that I know of. However, if you use a medium soil canister in input mode, you can click the hologram on top and it will automatically transfer a soil canister from your backpack. The canister then transfers its contents and moves to an open slot if possible, so you can repeat the process. This also works with other resources and medium canister types.

yeah I was hunting underground for research samples with a bunch of packagers and then died by popcoral oops.

I don't see what this remark has to do with the initial topic of this discussion. But anyways, why would you die from popcorals when hunting for research samples? Popcorals can kill you only when you dig them up.

My train got stuck in them and I misjudged the range. Also the relevance is: I was describing how I couldn't get the medium canisters yet and was hunting for research samples. The inference here would be that I wanted those to research the medium canister and made a mistake.
