We don’t need roads achievement (spoiler if you don’t have it yet)
I had fun trying to get this one. I got a medium rover to the core and finally managed to get it into orbit around the core.

I drove up one of the spires and banked off the ceiling to escape the spire’s gravity and landed on the outer cage of the core. Then by trial and error I drove towards one of the larger gaps and that got me just under the outer layer at almost full rover speed and I orbited around the core for roughly three minutes before the rover touched down on the core.

My way to success seemed long and drawn out. I’m curious how some you got this achievement.

Yes.

I thought maybe you worked for Space X.

I also did the core orbit (corbit?) thing, albeit a rocket assisted one. Was a bit of a faff to get, this one. Ten seconds is a hell of a lot longer than you think.

I got this achievement accidentally as I struggled to get control of my rover at the core, lol.

Did you press C and V to fire the rockets on the rover?

Yeah C/V but not together as that would fire both front and back at the same time.

I got mine because of the rover glitch that made it refuse to move, apparently they were constantly moving and that allowed me to get the achievement.

Sadly I don't have a good way of explaining how I got it. I was just sat in my large rover while I checked my phone, and when I looked back up to my screen I randomly saw the notification I got the achievement! I think like Lil Puppy mentioned, it was something to do with the glitch that sometimes made vehicles get stuck/not move after you entered them.

I did think being airborne for 10 seconds sounded very difficult to achieve legitimately, going to the core in a vehicle is surely the best way to do that
