Nope.

Really shouldn't be hard to find the value given the predictable fixed rewards for completing the first few tutorial steps.

I'd help you out, but the forum guidelines states that the discussion of cheating is not allowed.

While that's true and I personally am not fond of cheating myself, cheats in Astroneer are used purely for a "creative mode" and Astroneer has absolutely no competitive elements anyway, so it's ok as long as the person doesn't end up reporting bugs using a "hacked" (save) game.

Surely this is why they shouldn't be used at all. Much like the "exploits" discussion. If you're not playing the game the way it's expected to be played then you're likely to find all sorts of bugs.

Nothing worse than a bug noone can find or repeat due to it being caused by 3rd party software noone else has.

If we're supposed to report bugs to help development, surely it helps if we're all working from the same page.

It really depends what you're doing. If someone's getting into freezing patches of memory or editing the executable to force item duplication then yeah, all bets are off. If they're just changing the number of bytes in the bank, something's gone very wrong if that breaks the game world and SE would need to know about it even if it wasn't reproducible in standard play.

Use a trainer instead, far easier than messing around in cheat engine

Googling for easy and convenient cheat tools is how you get pwned. Random executables from unknown .ru authors that train you to dismiss antivirus warnings.

Just search "all" for byte type. Takes a bit longer but youll get there.
