It's little brown tetrahedron things in the ground. You'll find it eventually. But yeah, you can always use the centrifuge for free resources. Totally not a broken cheat item.

When I left for Novus I only had full soil canister and popped a soil centrifuge in the shuttle. Don't really need much else lol. 2 soil canister = 8 resin = 4 platform A (or 2 B and grab 1 more resin for a 3rd)

My friend had a rover with soil canister up the wazoo with 5 soil centrifuge. I didn't steal that idea from them lol.
