Bit off topic, and i cant speak for everyone, but i just want to say, to those who handle all our fussing, i appreciate you. Ive been very(likely too much, admittedly) vocal about my disapproval of this game, but have still been treated respectfully by the PR department. I dont know how many of you there are, nor if youll see this, but thank you. Thank you for not muting and suppressing dissent, and for continuing to be kind and respectful in the face of all this backlash. I know its your job, but you do it well. Its not your fault, and youre doing the best with what you have, props to you guys.

In the rare chance that a dev is seeing this, stop it, stop it now, please lol

also please let me use the forum, I have the windows store edition of astroneer (I have xbox game pass, astroneer is in the catalog of games). Kinda frustrating that I cant post questions because I dont have the game on steam.

basically what mine was about in the news page. i wasnt the only one showing disdain for their decisions, but i was specific, specifically i called out them using the Pride movement as a prop for their crummy store no one wanted. the first time i said it, it was deleted. 2nd time is still up on page 5 somewhere if you have 30 posts per page.

i am curious what RT said as well though.

The second comment was to someone in specific, my guess is that they got angry and reported me but because it wasn't against TOS the mod silently deleted it.

I guess if you want to be heard this much you can just buy game from another account and then refund it providing review that you don't support LGBT. Thought I don't understand why supporting it by devs is such a big problem. Not like it's making game worse.

there is currently a well known rights group besides pride, many corporations latched onto this movement in early 2020 and sold merch with the message before it was fully understood, this merch was sold for profit for the corporation and went nowhere near the rights group or a cause they would be for. it all went into a corporate pocket. this group merged with another and now make a mockery of Portland Oregon's justice system.

so, the devs aren't selling this skin, its free, where's the problem you ask? the fact you must claim it by entering their storefront full of overpriced gaudy crap. a store that no one even asked for. a store they dont even need the funding from if they budgeted off their sales properly. they are using a political movement, as a prop to sell their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, its an insult to the movement itself and anyone who would actually support its message.

Oh, so you actually approaching it from opposite side than I thought. Well, described like that it may sound offensive. My only problem with shop is my OCD - I hate those "notification" icons, otherwise I don't care about it, but it's just my view.

nah i feel you there, i wish my phone didnt notify me about samsung related crap, but there is no way to turn it off really. because samsung controls the phone.
