How to rotate items on keyboard

also when you use your terrain tool with left click on the mouse.. you can right click once and it locks in close to ya like a controller would

wtf were they thinking...
theres 10 different, better keybinds they couldve chosen for this. like hold r click, hold mmb, Q+E, shift, alt, control. these were all the keys i tried before giving up.
