Soil centrifuge stuck. Can't start/stop or change product

Looking at google results it sadly seems like the soil centrifuge has been the subject of various bugs for years.

Mine is stuck. All the compartments look 'full' but no resources are visible. The centrifuge does not accept any additional soil when attaching full canisters. It's on a Large platform type-B where other slots are open. No product is visible.

When accessing the device's controls, the left/right controls to change product don't do anything. The start/stop button is disabled. If I toggle the 'repeat forever' button then the start/stop button becomes active again but does nothing.

And yes, the device has power.

I don't have access to a repackager right now because -this is kind of a low budget space mission- where I landed with just what I needed and did not bring spares or backups of everything.

The only known fix of this is packaging the soil centrifuge and unpacking it.

pack it up with packager, it lost power when mid spin.

This has happened to me like 5 times in the last few days. Right in front of my face it stops working after spinning up. Incredibly frustrating, I'm going to have to stop playing until I see this is addressed.

I'm seeing bug complaints about this going back a year and a half so I guess I shouldn't hold my breath that this will ever be fixed.

Low budget space mission or not. Graphite is found on every single planet. Just go dig.

I always have 2 packagers in stock to fix this problem when ot occurs. Not so critical. Stuck - take packager - pack - unpack. Yes, soil is lost, but it works again!
