Can someone tell me how to make a working soil centrifuge?

I'm playing on Windows store version, every guide that I read or watched are either missing proper steps or are different.
for example the soil centrifuge in the updated game version does not look like this, it doesn't have the extra stuff at the sides.

Make sure it is attached to the platform it stands on. You inserted a full canister, yet centrifuge doesn't fill. This shouldn't be like that. You either didn't attach it proper, or it's a bug.

by attaching you mean putting it on the same platform? then yeah they are properly attached to the same platform. there are empty canisters too.
I just can't get it to work..

Have you selected the panel of the centrifuge? You need to select it, select the resource you want to get out of your soil and hit the green button.

I did, when i press the button it doesn nothing.

the panel doesn't change when i press the green button, nothing changes. after pressing green button, i have the option to press the red X button to cancel the operation and after pressing that it still does nothing.

Did you wait after pressing the green button? The centrifuge needs to fill the small bottles.
