free scrap farm (help)
i recently found a way to grind for infinite free legal scrap. (glitch free) the process is as follows
1: mine some soil
2: put it through the soil centrifuge,
3: use the materials to build something
4: scrap it
this is where the "help" comes in, does anybody know the most scrap yield 2 canisters can produce, i have all the printers and the biggest scrapper so im looking for the most canister to scrap possible

The most efficient craft is Winch - convert half the soil to Resin and the other half to Organic, combine into Rubber, and craft with Tungsten into winches. Minus the cost of replacing your Tungsten, this still leads to +2 scrap per canister.

The less efficient but faster approach is just to convert it all to Clay -> Ceramic -> Drill Mod 1, for a yield of +1.5 scrap per canister.

The only time I ever played with another person, I watched them make the level 1 drill tool attachments from clay. Then he just threw them in the small shredder. Thought that was a great early game way to do stuff. What you SHOULD do, and what I found, was that I wanted batteries on silos. So I went to Vesania. After about 2... maybe 3 trips down into the planet, I had so much lithium, that I made a HUGE battery array. You really only need a few though. Then you shred batteries in a large shredder for while, you get 4 scrap from each. Yeah, I never did run out of anything.
Batteries... shred them... best way.

Batteries are negative efficiency - they only yield 2 scrap each, but Lithium costs 4 scrap.

Since you must actually mine soil, there isn't anything free here. If there were actually a way to scrap things for enough scrap to buy more materials than it costs to make the thing, then you'd have found an exploitable scheme. This will all run out when you stop feeding soil into the mix. Now if you can find a way to buy the mats with scrap via trade station instead of by mining soil...

well its not like ground is vary rare, just find a mountain thats just a bit annoying, and before you know it you have a nice little quarry to put something in

Well, you're right and wrong. I haven't played in a month, forgot they were 2. They are 100% efficient if you follow what I wrote and go to Vesania. That's where I usually build my first big base.
