Linux dedicated server?
I was able to use steamcmd to download the server on windows but when I try on my ubuntu 18 server it only downloads the steamcmd files/folders, linux64 steamapps steamclient.so. steamcmd +login anonymous +app_update 728470

I have a few ARK servers running without issue so this is odd to me.

Are there binaries for linux or is it only windows at this time?

It's only Windows.

Is there a roadmap / future plans for Linux later? Already have a Linux server up 24/7, be a hassle if need to spin up a Windows VM on it (with all it's overheads) just so can host an Astroner server. :steamsad:

Pretty sure I heard them say that there's no Linux support YET.

What a pity. For me this is kind of a no-go. Linux dedicated are a must - simple because today you can build a container image and therefore automate the whole process. I really hope that this changes in the future and that there will be a version for dedicated server on Linux
🙏 linux dedicated server please

How's the overhead if you run it through Proton?
