I know I was able to make it in one of my savegames but for some reason I can't make it now I have the small printer, medium printer and large printer and IIRC its supposed to be the medium printer but it won't make it even if I put it on a large platform A (and I don't remember needing/having to use a platform to even print it, but I do need it to operate it though)

Are you sure it's a powered platform? Kinda hard to decipher what you're saying in that single rambling sentence, to be honest.

I'm presuming you spent the research points to unlock the blueprint? If you have the BP and the printer is powered on a platform, it should come up with the recipe.
