I ended up quitting, as struggling through a glitchy beginner tutorial for an hour made me lose any incentive to keep going. And I consider myself a fairly advanced player in early access, so I am a bit concerned how new players will view this game if this is what they run in to... I would really hate to see this excellent game get blasted as an EA cash grab due to first impressions!
If you can bear to start again, I'd suggest this time just going straight into the main game. So much more to do, and it's fairly straight forward on what needs done. Heck, you can spend a ton of time on the starting planet and get a decent base set up before even needing to get into rockets. At least until that first iron run. lol.
It let me install it, but when I went to take off, I got a prompt stating, Need Thruster. No matter which way I turned it, or how many times I reinstalled it, I couldn't get it to work.
Maybe I missed something - going to try again tomorrow.
