Moving the Habitat?

Is it possible to move the habitat?
Just to reorder a bit the messy base in a better layout.

Also the tarrain under it seems not destroyable , I would like to extend that dark grey terrain to all my base using the terrain mods but seems not working.

the dark grey area is only a stating point you can use the deformer to level out the area based on it as a starting point but no you cant move or replace it. you can build a new habitat later and move to another streach of planet and make a cleaner one. they want you to make dozens of bases on each of the planets but will not provide you with a basic map

I assume the starting habitat is intentionally invulnerable because it's your original and fallback spawn point.
