so far, almost died once because i used ceramic drill on lower rock when necessary, but charged back up with about 2 or 3 seconds left to death

to be fair, it could remove challenge from the game. normally, that might be fine, but the game is really lacking in the challenge department as it is.
that said, given how many reports I see of bad performance due to tethers, an overpowered portable oxygen generator that makes tethers not neccesary could be a great addition to the game, especially for those on console or other low end hardware.
Reason i stopped playing lately is because i got tired of chasing tethers and just wanted to go play like No mans sky.. I hate being limited by artificial difficulty.
ok. why even have crafting require resources? thats too challenging to have to collect stuff to make things, you should be able to make things for free. while we are on it, why even have to craft anything. starter package should just contain all the craftable items. lets just remove tethers and the oxygen generators and not require oxygen, then remove damage from plants, we dont need that. whats left? pastel scenery simulator? thats not a game. you just walk around. oh crap, why make people walk. hitting the w key is too challenging. it should be like this.

It's not really useless but it could be better. I did some tests and if you carry two small batteries with the oxygenator you get around ten minutes worth of oxygen vs carrying three Small Oxygen tanks and only getting around 5mins worth. Also its more convenient having extra battery packs anyway, especially if you use mods for the terrain tool.
