Where to find Wolframite (Tungsten)?

Is it like Malachite where you have to check mountain tops on the new Barren moon? I've been all the way to Glacio, xbox not PC yet, and still can't find any.

i managed to find some one the surface of the desert planet, try checking near cliff faces once you get there. it should look like a bunch of cubes pasted into eachother.

I find tons of it on the moon, just under the surface.

Same here. I've been searching for hours on barren and arid, on surface and in caves. I might have to start a new game.

Been to 4 planets and my moon but so far still no tungsten. However, I managed to find hematite (iron) and graphite just lately so, obviously need to explore some more. Usually dig where there's nothing but haven't had much luck that way. Will have to try going back to the moon I guess by the sounds of it.

It seems that one of the secrets of the 1.0.X releases is that the secondary resource of each planet is mostly found on the surface, while the primary is found under the ground. In every case, I have had to descend to at LEAST the second level of caves, if not the THIRD to find the primary resource. But when you find it, you find it big. You will also note that many of the Exo Research Assist triangle pods, in addition to requiring power, may also be found to use the secondary resource found on the surface to open those pods. These are noted by the resource graphic on the side of the pod. Usually really sweet high-byte research inside!

I have to admit, on my save game i tried to search almost 1h inside the caves on the Moon of Sylvia and I have only found 2 depots of wolframite...

Tungsten is not a high-needed material, but has a too low spawn rate...

I had to go pretty deep to find Tungsten on Desolo, but once I did get deep enough I found tons of it all over.
