How can the new suits and palettes be obtained?

I just traveled to the moon, exotic and its satellite and I still havent unlocked any new suits. I thought that the suits would be unlocked by traveling to new planets but it seems it isnt like that. Anyone got any insight into this?

I guess the hidden achievements have something to do with that, you can see them here https://steamcommunity.com/stats/361420/achievements/ but I honestly do not know

You have to unlock the core of a planet to unlock the suits for each. The core is blocked by a forcefield but if you unlock one 'big purple' on the surface, the forcefield should lift, allowing you access to the central core.

Though I unlocked all the surface ones before checking, so you may only need the surface and core. If that doesn't work, unlock them all.

I took two canisters, a tier one tool drill upgrade and a lot of tethers. I went down at an angle with the flattening tool like a ramp and kept increasing the angle as the gravity got lower and the core got closer. You'll get a feel for it.

I just spent hours doing all this on the terran world, got the achievement, but no suit or palette unlock...

If you haven't, unlock the core. Terran requires quartz. You can check the resource requirements by finding the icon on the pillars in the Astropedia.

If all else fails, simply save, exit, and reload the game. That works for me. Let me know if anything else happens and I'll try and help :)

I have a similar issue - I discovered my firewall was blocking Astroneer after I have unlocked three cores and now that it is unblocked I do not have the suits. Does anyone know if these will unlock retroactively?

It's linked to the achievement, try restarting the game and/or Steam entirely.

They would never show up for me till I restarted.

I am pretty new to the game and am having a blast but I am still confused on how to find new skin pallets so if someone could send me a link of some sort that would be great

Me and a friend got to the core by making a ramp that slowly gets deeper and a tractor with a storage thing on it and yeah we just dug down and. I dident know that it’s so realistic like the gravity would change to up hill eventually and the tractor had a fine and dandy time with that to say the least
