1.0 Has anyone found ammonium on the starting planet?

I've been playing a few hours now in 1.0 and have yet to find it. I've checked mountains and caves pretty deep but nothing so far. Its kind of necessary to get off this starting planet...


Don't freak out, I found ammonium its not that hard, no need to tell me all the ways you can get it. Thanks!

Yes i was lucky enough to land in an area full of it, only found it under all the tall trees at the mo.

Same as that. Found it very near my starting location among some trees. There was a second deposit not too far away (less than 1-beacon-worth-of-distance away)

found a small amount just on the ground not far from where i landed. still haven't been to a cave yet with this update

If you still can't find it then remember that ammonium is one of the resources that you can craft from simple dirt in the soil centrifuge.

As soon as you have the soil centrifuge you can extract ammonium, but you only get one per two full canisters. As stated, just run through the trees below the mountains. When you find a good deposit, you can usually pull at least 30+ out of it and can often find more close by
