Anybody happen to know how this works and what it is?

I made two medium rovers. One has a RTG behind the seat and the other a medium battery on the tail. The caboose has the large storage on it to carry 4 research pods. This setup will open both refill and maintain power (the medium battery is required on the maintain) unit. I keep the specified resource needed by some in my pack.

One load made me 29,600 on Glacio.

For the "refill internal power supply", make sure the direction of the cable you're connecting the EXO Research Aid is pointing directly into the "EXO-RA" itself, not taking the cable from it and connecting it outward.

How can you tell? There should be arrows pointing in the direction in which the power is being diverted. Just to be clear, you should definitely connect from your trailer to the EXO-RA.
