Some people are not in front of their desktop most of the time and prefer playing on the couch or on a device that they can store in their pocket...I guess.
Handheld devices may be greatly inferior in every regard but mobility, but well, you gain the mobility aspect. When travelling, it's still gonna be more useful than your desktop.
It certainly won't be a priority till the 1.0 release, if at all. Linux support is coming up soon, Mac support is planned for 1.0, and other platforms have not even be really talked about yet.
mac support? I assume you are using compute shaders for your PCG? Mac does really support those without using some odd api. all of its commonly used apis are very dated.
Linux support, Yes, that will be nice. If they can get the Linux version running OSX shouldnt be that hard.
with online and local multiplayer would be amazing
IKR ha ha
Fortnite has taken the Battle Royale hype and brought it to another level.
Sony and Nintendo would be foolish to let the chance of tons of free PR and possibly a cut of the revenue slip through their fingers.
Essentially, games like Fortnite are an exception to to their absurd popularity.
