Extra large shredder half way cleans up my base

Its so weird

I thought, 'yay, I can finally shred all those research chambers and platforms I will never use again.

The extra large shredder happily shredded the research chambers, but the platforms? Nope, no dice.

Even the tiny platform A seems to be to much for the extra large shredder.

I just don't get it...

Well I couldn't figure out how to shred a platform. I packaged the platform, unpackaged it, and did everything imaginable to try and shred it, and no dice.

so how do you shred those rover wrecks? I could not even lift them up, had to pack them, but to no avail

Hmm, I just setup a large rover for the XL shredder and didn't have any problems either lifting the medium rover wreck or shredding it. Im uploading a video showing it in action. https://youtu.be/eUzVZ31q8_c

I suspect that you are trying to shred a working rover, which cant be lifted so cant be shredded.

I was using an older save and i could not pick it up. After packing and unpacking it suddenly worked, both with rover wreck and platform wreck.
By the way, ylou could not put the scrap on the rocket because it had reached its limit (you had resin with a 1 to 2 ratio, thus 4 scrap was maximum.

their may be a small section that is still stuck in the ground with out you knowing... keep digging until it flops out would be my suggesting

You can pick up rover wrecks in the new game, but not games started prior to the patch.

seems to me new rovers that are spawned on an old can be picked up. existing ones, no.
