What are the T platforms used for?
The medium T platform uses 2 plastic, but unless I'm missing something, appears to be not even as functional as medium platform A.

Large T platform appears to be a little bit better, I could large T platforms being functionally equivalent to a large platform C.

You can actually slap your small and medium printers on them if you like feeding those two things manually. The bigger printer will print past the smaller one.

Also, on the large one I have my power plant. Let me know if you think it's too much. =o)

One thing that might have passed notice is that while the Medium T-platform and Medium Platform A have essentially the same amount of space for modules, one will fit in your backpack and one will not. For me, it dramatically changes what I carry with me for a new planet start. I like!

Other than the backpack issue, I'm still not seeing any benefit of the medium t platform vs medium platform A.

I guess my main gripe is cost. For two items that are virtually identical in function, I don't understand why 1 requires 2 plastic and the other just 2 resin.

On the other hand, you reach a point in the game were cost is not worth worrying about because you have 10,000,000 units of everything and nothing to build.

Many pieces of equipment you can make are totally useless in virtually all gameplay situations, and feel like they were designed by staff who've never played the game before. The only reason you'd ever build one is if you were trying to do something quirky or fun with them.

Keep in mind that the game is still underdevelopment and some if not all of those "useless" items are or may be ground work for future content

Except Astroneer is out of EA.

The main benefit of the Medium T-Platform is that when packaged it's the only backpack-storable platform that can fit two medium modules on it, so you can put your printer or battery [silo] on the same platform as a medium power source, saving time and space when starting up a brand new base or going around activating gateways.
