Same as reported earlier by numerous others, When I fabricated the Soil Centrifuge and put it to use, it was not possible to remove the canisters of newly created Resources (The Canisters were pointing downward and inaccessible). After searching for info on this and reading this thread, I saved & exited game, relaunched, and voici
I am enjoying the H3LL our of Astroneers - but I am running into enough issues that make this feel more like an EA (not ready for prime-time) game. So, before anyone gets their knickers in a twist, I'm not hating on Astroneers, only seeing unexpected behaviour from a full release game. And IMHO, that makes it look like Astroneers was pushed out before it was ready.
I was making the point that no other Resource device requires the Special Attention & Coddling that this Soil Centrifuge seems to demand. Workarounds are well and good, but they point back at this Dev for lack of attention to detail. The game is stable, runs well, and is great fun. BUT, there are a LOT of bugs........
I could fill a page with one-offs, as well as reproducible glitches. This Soil Centrifuge is just one among many. Astroneer is marketed as full release, yet feels very Early Access.
Anyway, that's all from me - need to get busy - those Nodes & Gateways aren't going to activate themselves
