Stuck ..no aluminum
What do I do if I am stuck on a planet and I can't find any aluminum to make a thruster?

Keep looking. Every planet has aluminum on it.

There's always at least a small cluster in the first level of caves underground, but you may need to explore a Km or so in all directions to find it. I always make a 45 degree tunnel down to the caves at my landing site, so I have ample resources right at my fingertips.

Atrox is the exception because if you go there without a drill, you cant get into the caves because there aren't any natural access points and the ground is impenetrable without it.

I was absolutely dumb. I was walking right past it underground. I forgot that was what the shape of it was..the blue/purple round wafers.......lol
