If I die twice in a row, will my first body disappear?
Please, please tell me it won't.

Yeah, but the important thing is that even though the body (and map marker) disappear, the items on the backpack and terrain tool will still be on the ground where the body was.
Your body disappears, yes. But the items will still remain in that place.
You items will remain but your body will disappear.
Wtf is wrong with these people? It's literally half a second to see the date and previous response to see the question was answered YEARS ago

Oh internet!
People label others of jerks and stupid, then insults and rant..
When you can just delete your own threads, unsubscribe and ignore among other solutions instead of doing a childish tantrum.

well until a thread gets beyond a certain amount of posts. then you need a mod to lock your thread.
OP, did you ever unsubscribe from this thread, or are you still getting notified about all the comments?

I'm still here, myself; mostly just to watch all the people bumping the thread by complaining that the thread got bumped... again...

The sensation is oddly similar to that obtained by retrieving glyphs from the graves of previous travelers, "I've done this before, so many times, yet it still feels somehow valuable."

Oh, and if you're in "normal" difficulty, the site of your death will leave behind a cache containing your inventory; "Survival" mode ups the ante by having all of your loot disappear on death, and "Permadeath" mode nullifies the question by wiping your save if you die.

I'm still here indeed! Like I said in a previous reply, this thread stopped being annoying and became amusing after a while. I hope that people keep bumping it until the end of time, it's pretty funny. :creepy:

can I lock this thread? Is that a thing here in the steam forums?

Yes, if you an administator.

Welcome to earth. Here you learn that you do not have full control over other people.

The ability to lock your own thread is commonplace in most forums.
